Interfaith Sacred Women’s Circle
Hosted by: Madam Adela Seer madamadelaseer@gmail.com
Women, those identifying as women, and intersex and non-binary assigned female at birth, of all faiths or agnostic, are invited to join a sacred safe space where we can share our truth, speak our sorrows, and support each other by baring witness. This will be done as a talking stick circle, where those holding the stick may speak and everyone else must remain silent. This is an opportunity to share, be vulnerable, and process. This is not an opportunity for listeners to try and fix, we must instead give the gift of active listening & our attentive presence. Everything that is shared in circle must remain in the circle, this means we do not go home and tell our partners what other folks said. We do not bring it up later with the person who shared unless they are the ones who ask you to. And we never use anything said in circle against each other.
We are witnessing cataclysmic shifts, and many of us are feeling them deeply. There is much grief associated with the decline and death of society and the structures we were told to trust and rely on. There are many traumas ecologically, collectively and personally that we are not meant to carry alone. Grief, rage, fear, anxiety; all benefit from being processed in community.
We all are indigenous to somewhere, and those ancestors were tribal. It is time for the
Rainbow Tribe to come together. It is time for the Matriarchy to heal so that we can find the strength to step up and bring about the changes that are needed in order for us to survive.
Shopping is available the first half hour.
This event is being offered in good faith and is FREE to attend.
Is it a weed?
